Hello hello, LeaRose here again as promised! This week is a bit shorter post, a poem I wrote earlier this year revolving around the ideas of missing out and feeling like nobody is there to listen, along with the repercussions that follow. Sometimes, it seems like the world is blind to our sorrows, battles and anxieties and there was a time I felt this way. Yet through Christ and the gifts He has given me, I have overcome!
Now, I'm so grateful for the support I have in my life, friends and family to share my feelings with and hold me together when life gets hard. Learning to let go and trust God and the people around me can be difficult sometimes but it's all worth it in the end. With that said, I leave you to enjoy my poem...and I pray that wherever you feel unseen, God's love would fill the gap and make you whole again.
Amidst the Rushing Wind 15 times a tree falls 14 days a bird calls but no one hears the silent tears amidst the rushing wind 13 wishes let free 12 attempts to feel seen but no one knows the drooping rose whose dying petals bend 11 words that aren't said 10 decisions misled but no one feels the wounds unhealed and so they sing within 9 letters scribbled out 8 vanished screaming shouts but no one sees the desperate pleas hanging over them 7 stars outshined above 6 broken chains of single love but no one finds the fallen minds whose grip is wearing thin 5 breaths shaken 4 hearts taken but no one feels the angry peals ringing in the den 3 times a tree falls 2 days no bird calls and no one hears the silent tears amidst the rushing wind 1 attempt to fail to fold but no one hears the absent tears amidst the rushing wind.
