It's Not Impossible!

I am
and I will be writing the weekly devotional for this blog — at least until Jack gets back from his vacation from screens.Although I realize this blog will probably be trafficked by different people, this devotional is specifically meant for teens who are planning the next steps in their lives.
This blog was started by Jack to get together a bunch of his friends to talk about books. Most (if not all) of these friends are teenagers who want to become published authors when they grow up.
A lot of people will tell us that becoming a published author is unrealistic. That our goal in life is unreachable. That the journey will be too difficult. Basically, our dream is impossible.
But this is not true! In Matthew 19:23-26, Jesus was telling His disciples how difficult the road to the Kingdom of Heaven is. His disciples became worried and thought that reaching Heaven was impossible. But Jesus told them that nothing is impossible with God. And those words are still true today!
If you want to become a published author, it is not impossible. With God it is possible! If you want to become an artist, it is not impossible. With God it is possible! If you want to become a musician, it is not impossible. With God it is possible! Whatever your dream is - whatever you want to be - God can make it possible!
So when you become discouraged, when people tell you that your dreams are impossible, and when you're ready to throw in the towel, just remember this:
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”

Look, there will always be people in life who will discourage you. There will be times in your life when you are so discouraged that you are ready to give up. DON’T DO IT! DON’T GIVE UP! It may seem impossible at the time, but God can still do everything! And with His help, you can achieve your dreams and goals for life.
Let's Pray:
Dear God,
I know what I want to do with my life. Please, if it be Your will help me to achieve my dreams. Please show me how to accomplish these things. When people try to discourage me, please help me to push through and keep my eyes focused on my goal.
