A quick overview of March and announcements for April

Hey Everyone! Ken here with some announcements!

First off the agenda… No we did not have an announcement post for March, yes this post is in March, yes it is for April… We didn't really have any announcements for March, nothing changing, and figured we could rearrange things a little bit, given that March weirdly had 5 Mondays! So this post is our send-off for March and our Hello to April! Ready for Easter?

Well, with the topic of Easter up I will let y'all know real quick our plans on that. Currently we will do our usual Devotional simply on a topic that is closer to an Easter like topic. We already have a week scheduled for the Devotional, so we will keep that as it is, and not move it closer to Easter. Apologies if anyone is saddened or offended by that, we figured you would already be getting lots of posts on Easter right around Easter Time, as well as whatever your church would be doing, and thought it would be nice to take a step back from all of that. We will still have our monthly Devotional though, so don't worry about that.

And now onto our big announcement!

The Big Announcement

Anyone else starting to smile a little bit? Maybe even chuckle…? you know… no one really says the word chuckle anymore, what even happened to it? Like, we say laugh, smirk, grin, laugh a little, and even quirk into a smile occasionally… But chuckle? Hardly ever…

I'm getting off topic you say? Oh please, since when am I ever on topic. In fact, you're the reader, how do you even know what the topic is. The topic is whatever I want. I. The Author. And a little side note about authors… We are here to play with your emotions, we are cruel… No-one in their right mind would ever want to meet the authors of their favorite books, the pain those authors put the characters through… And yet we do anyways… Cruel world isn't it. Anyways where was I… oh yes, I can do exactly what I like with this post. You know why? Because I am the Author. Therefore I will do as I please. And you will read anyways. Do you know why? Because you secretly enjoy it. You enjoy it when the author plays with your emotions, you like being made to emit emotions, and you like thinking you've bested the author when they don't elicit anything from you…

Now, would you please stop interrupting me rudely. I have a story to tell and you are annoying me. Remember. It's time for The Big Announcement.

The Big Announcement

I am not a poet. I may be an author. I may even rhyme occasionally. But I'm certainly not a poet. You're a poet and you didn't even know it. Ugh, is anyone else tired of that phrase? Usually said in first person but I couldn't use it to describe myself so had to change that for this context. There are so many different little cute poem thingies, they are so overused at this point though, it's plain annoying! Anyways, point being, I myself will not be indulging in these poems… My colleagues however have decided that they like poems and so would like to write some, and so they convinced me to let them open up a Poets Section…

In case you didn't catch that/understand it.

The Big Announcement is a Poets Section.

There you go. Boom. Another section. Yes we have a lot. No we don't care. If you ever see me in that section, please file a complaint with someone and go tell the world that Ken has been taken over or something really really terrible has happened, because those are the only scenarios in which I would ever be caught in there… Other than to read the poems that have been posted by people, who are not me, in there.
