Welcome to Reflections From A Fractured Garden!
We are so excited you decided to join us. We are a Christian oriented blog. What we mean by this is that all we do is for the glory of God and we do to reflect God’s light. Here in Reflections from a Fractured Garden you will find devotionals, poetry, and journal like posts. Along with these posts you will find an occasional recommendation and book review. We are teens writing for other teens, but no matter the age or stage of your life we’d love for you to join us.
But before you jump right in, let’s explore who we are, what we stand for, and what we’ll be posting to improve your experience in Reflections from a Shattered Garden.
Who We Are
If you aren’t already aware, this blog is a continuation of the former Blogger publication known as Controversial Book Club. And now the former Young Author Section. Created by then fourteen-year-old
, and continued by the female teen , the blog is now written by an ever-changing amount of young Christian teens passionate about writing, reading, and having fun. Want to learn more about our team? Just follow the profiles listed under the heading titled People, and subscribe to this blog! Also, don’t hesitate to share Reflections From A Fractured Garden with any friend, family member, or anyone you know who will enjoy what we have to offer.Our Audience
This blog is written by Christian teens specifically for teens. There’s your warning for what you are getting into. Originally this blog was written for teen writers. However, we have changed our focus a little bit. We will still do the occasional recommendation and writing tips, but that’s not our focus anymore. We’d love for you to join us on our journey, regardless of age.

Devotionals — These posts will be uplifting messages posted monthly to remind our readers of the goodness of our Heavenly Father, where we stand as Christian teen writers, and give our readers hope to fuel them throughout the week.

The Art — In the Art you will get to experience our journeys. With a little bit of variety in what The Art can be, here is a summary. You’ll see bits and pieces of our stories, what we are dealing with in life, an art project unrelated to writing, something that inspired us. In short, a journal of us.

Spilled Ink — We have a bit of a twist here. In Spilled Ink you’ll be able to feel the emotions, hear the music, become inspired, all due to the stunning poems you’ll find on here.

Announcements — You’ll get a special view into what we’ll be doing during a particular month. What we did the month before. And what to expect from us.

Short Story Contest — One of this blog’s highlights, our short story contests will be hosted every December. Each contest will feature a specific genre, guidelines, and a word limit. Anyone is free to join these contests and the winning story will be featured in The Contests. (We request story submissions as well as volunteer judges!)

Archive — We’ve been a blog for quite a while now. And we’ve gone through some changes, as we have been finding our niche. Because of this we’ve had some posts that belong in categories we no longer write in. These posts can now be found under Archive.
